In 2025, we structured the CIX ESG Affordable Housing Bond II, with the objective of financing the pre-incorporation period of residential real estate assets, of a social nature, in California, USA.
Affordable housing developments are supported by a series of government-backed programs, grants, and financing. The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program (“LIHTC Program”) provides jobs, revitalizes low-income neighborhoods, and generates billions of dollars annually in tax revenue for federal, state, and local governments, among other social and economic benefits for individuals and communities, encouraging developers and private investors to provide more social housing.
This is the second issuance of this thesis, which already has a proven three-year track record of success.
